Gain clarity in what and how to learn next

We noticed that fitness and language learning have two things in common:

  1. There's no magic solution that makes you fit, healthy or fluent
  2. Everyone claims they have one

We know this can’t be true. If you really could get fit without 🏃 running, or fluent without putting in hard work, we’d all be multilingual athletes by now.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably not out jogging, nor have you achieved your dream of speaking a foreign language fluently.

This is fine. You’re not alone.

The good news is, there is a very high chance that given the right approach, you’ll be able to get to a near-native standard. And we’ve got data to prove it.

You see:

LinguaLift is the product of over six years of research by experts from Harvard, Stanford and Oxford.

We analyzed over a million data points to identify users who showed passion and dedication, but gave up mid-way through the course.

And then we picked up the ☎️ phone.

We didn’t email our users impersonal surveys, or ask them whether they’d “recommend LinguaLift to a friend”.

Instead, we spent hours actually talking to each individual learner, trying to get to the bottom of what caused them to stop.

Our findings boil down to one simple fact: Language learners give up when they lose clarity.

1 Clarity of organization

LinguaLift is structured so that you always know what to do next. You will never lose track of your progress, learning objectives and material to review.

2 Clarity of explanation

LinguaLift lessons read like a message from your favourite teacher, not a linguistics thesis. We explain everything in plain English—even the most complex of grammar.

3 Clarity of example

LinguaLift is all about teaching in context. You’ll learn characters within words, words within phrases, and phrases within real-life dialogues, so you can start using the language right away.

You'll learn through interactive lessons that adapt to your personal needs, and teach you how to speak, write and read the language.

To succeed in this course, you must be self-driven and motivated to learn. Language learning requires regular practice, even if just for 10 minutes a day.

You must also have good enough English to understand grammar explanations and translations.

If this sounds like you, we encourage you to give LinguaLift a try!

Currently our tutors and coaches are ready to help you learn Japanese, Russian, and Hebrew. Watch out for more in the future!

I work/study full-time, can I still take this course?

Yes! You can go through LinguaLift courses on your own schedule. More than 85% of our students are college students or employed full-time.

You can learn any time it works for you, but we strongly recommend daily practice if you want to make tangible progress.

How will I practice the language?
